USB drives are small, portable flash memory cards that can be plugged into the USB port of a computer system and act as a portable hard drive. USB drives are more popular because of their features like they are small enough to be carried easily and also easy to use. Though the storage capacity of the USB drives is less as compared to that of the external hard drive, the data stored in them are more durable because USB drives don’t have any internal moving parts. USB drives are also called jump drives, thumb drives, pen drives, tokens or simply USB flash drives. The main advantage of storing data inside USB drives is they are preformatted with file system architectures (such as FAT 12, FAT 16 and FAT 32) and can also be defragmented like that of the internal drives. You can store your important files and programs inside USB drive in different folders according to their category and as per your convenience. But sometimes the folders inside the USB drive are deleted due to some reasons. To come out of such situation, you should undelete deleted files and folders from the USB drives using USB drive recovery software.
Common folder deletion scenarios in USB drives:
To come out of such type of folder deletion scenarios in USB drive you must recover deleted folder from memory cards, and other USB drives using folder recovery software like Deleted Folder Recovery Software. But you should not write any new data into that USB drive until and unless you recover all the deleted folders. This is only to avoid the deleted folders getting overwritten with any new data. Because the deleted folders can never be retrieved using any recovery software once their contents are overwritten.
This software also enables you to retrieve folders and files erased by mistake in Windows operating system as well as restore accidentally deleted data on Mac OS X. This software can also restore files deleted because of Recycle Bin bypass. Apart from the USB drive, it can retrieve deleted folders from the memory cards (like SD, xD, CF, MMC etc.), hard drives (like SATA, IDE, SCSI etc.), FireWire drives, external drives etc. The deleted files with their entire folder structure can be recovered using this software. This tool also supports the data recovery on reformatted Seagate hard disk and other drives including Hitachi, Western Digital, Maxtor, Toshiba, etc.

Step 5: You’ll able to see the recovered files list along with their folder structure after the scanning is over and can also evaluate the folder recovery results as shown in Fig 5 below:

Note: If you want to save the recovered folder data then you’ll have to purchase the full version of this software because the demo version won’t allow you to save the recovered folder data.
